‘Miraculous’ Set To Make Its Theatrical Debut with ‘Miraculous Live Stage Spectacular’

By Annie Marino

Miraculous Corp is teaming up with Monlove, a Montreal-based production company, to bring the stories of Ladybug and Cat Noir to life, with the Miraculous Live Stage Spectacular. Additional key production partners include Wasserman Music and Mediawan. Award-winning leaders in the family live production space, Ella Louise Allaire, Founder and Artistic Director of Monlove, and Martin Lord Ferguson, Head of Creation at Monlove, are overseeing the production. This theatrical show will feature an original story and brand-new songs, with never-before-seen stage-to-video interactions that incorporate aerial choreography, acrobatics, dance, illusions, and puppetry. Audiences will witness Ladybug and Cat Noir face a new threat in a revolutionary way.

“Miraculous has always been about more than superheroes – it’s about the courage to be yourself and the hero you choose to be every day,” says Roz Nowicki, Global Head of Consumer Products at Miraculous Corp. “With this Miraculous Live Stage Spectacular, we’re bringing that spirit to the stage in a bold new way. Partnering with Monlove allows us to honor the heart of the franchise while reimagining it as a world-class live experience that will connect with families and fans across generations and around the globe.” Allaire and Ferguson plan to bring a new, unique flair to the Miraculous story with this show. Their proven experience includes family stage productions, Ice Age Live! A Mammoth AdventureScooby-Doo! and the Lost City of Gold, and All Systems Are Go! A NASA / Peanuts Experience. “I was drawn to Miraculous because of Marinette, she’s bright, athletic, and creative: a teenage girl portrayed as a true superhero,” says Allaire. “We need more heroes like Ladybug and Cat Noir for families and for this generation of boys and girls. Our goal is to honor these extraordinary characters and celebrate the world created by Jeremy Zag, Thomas Astruc, and Nathanaël Bronn.”

Miraculous Live Stage Spectacular reflects Miraculous Corp’s ongoing commitment to expanding its universe for a global audience, following additional ventures into the toy, gaming, film, and tourism sectors. Ferguson expands on Allaire’s statements: “This isn’t a typical kids’ show. It’s a premium spectacle for family audiences that fuses stagecraft and technology to deliver moments you can’t get on a screen. It’s crafted like a pop concert, paced like an action film, and grounded in a fairytale, where courage is contagious.” Audiences can catch Miraculous Live Stage Spectacular on a global tour in early 2027. Cities, venues, and on-sale dates will be announced later this year. Visit miraculousladybug.com to stay updated on all things Miraculous.
